RedOctane Games has unveiled a wave of new details for Stage Tour, the upcoming rhythm game inspired by the excitement of live concerts and classic music games. Following its public debut at IGN Live 2026, the studio confirmed new platform details, a Dark Horse Comics collaboration, an expanded soundtrack, and a major presence at San Diego Comic-Con.
Leading the announcements is an original Stage Tour one-shot comic from Dark Horse Comics. The issue expands the game’s universe by exploring the stories behind the bandmates players will encounter throughout the adventure.
The comic features a cover by Kim Hu, a script by Zoe Tunnell, interior art by Liana Kangas, colors by Diana Sousa, and lettering by Comicraft’s Tyler Smith.
The limited-edition comic will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con while supplies last. It will also be included with future Stage Tour hardware bundle preorders.

“Stage Tour is about bringing people together through the shared experience and love of music,” said Jack Guinchard, Head of Marketing and Brand at RedOctane Games. “Partnering with Dark Horse Comics allows us to expand the world of Stage Tour beyond the game itself, giving fans a fresh new way to connect with its bandmates through something exclusive that they can discover, collect, and share.”
RedOctane also confirmed that Stage Tour will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Steam wishlists are live now, with console wishlists and preorders arriving later.
Play Stage Tour at San Diego Comic-Con

Fans attending SDCC can visit Booth #2834 to play the latest closed alpha build on custom arcade cabinets created with Paradox Arcades.
The demo includes a selection of previously revealed songs while showcasing gameplay refinements shaped by player feedback gathered during IGN Live and the ongoing closed alpha.
Attendees will also get an early look at the official Kramer Guitar Controller. Pre-production units of the licensed controller will be available to try throughout the convention ahead of its planned release.
The exclusive Dark Horse comic will be available at both the Stage Tour booth (#2834) and the Dark Horse Comics booth (#2615) while supplies last.

RedOctane also expanded the game’s soundtrack, bringing the current lineup to 16 officially licensed tracks. Newly confirmed songs span rock, metal, alternative, and pop punk, including:

Bringing rhythm games back
Built by developers who previously worked on Guitar Hero and DJ Hero, alongside longtime members of the rhythm gaming community, Stage Tour centers on forming a band and performing with guitar, bass, drums, or vocals.
Players can use guitar controllers, drum kits, microphones, standard controllers, or keyboards as they progress through multiple game modes focused on performance, customization, and replayability.
The game also features officially licensed Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer instruments through a multi-year partnership with Gibson.
Stage Tour is scheduled to launch during the holiday season of 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, with additional announcements planned in the months ahead.
