Courtesy of DC Comics, AIPT can exclusively reveal the solicitation and cover art for November’s Dark Crisis: Worlds Without a Justice League – Batman #1. The main story is written by Si Spurrier with art by Ryan Sook, and the Zatanna backup is written by Meghan Fitzmartin with art by Dan Jurgens and Norm Rapmund. It’ll arrive in comic shops on November 15th.
This is one of five planned one-shots focusing on specific heroes, with Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Green Arrow coming out later this year.
The Superman one-shot has already been released. Don’t miss our interview with Tom King and Chris Burnham about that one-shot here. Similar to the Superman one-shot, this Batman story takes place after the Justice League were killed.
There’s not a lot to go on from the cover art, although one might assume there’s a steampunk theme going on with the clockwork gear on Batman’s chest!
Check out the solicit and covers below.
When Pariah and his forces of the Great Darkness laid waste to the most powerful superheroes of all time, all hope was lost…until now.
