Marvel sheds light on first-ever gay Spider-Man Web-Weaver

Check out the ‘Edge of Spider-Verse’ preview pages featuring the gay Spider-Man Web-Weaver and Hunter-Spider!

Press Release

Back in June, Marvel Comics revealed a new Spider-Man known as Web-Weaver that will be appearing in Edge of Spider-Verse, and today we’ve got more details on the new character. Created by Steve Foxe and Kris Anka, the character will appear in Edge of Spider-Verse #5 out on October 5th with art by Kei Zama. Retailers have until September 5th to put in their orders.

According to Marvel, Web-Weaver is a not-so-mild mannered fashion designer at Van Dyne who gets spider-powers and shows us a very different kind of Spider-Slayer. Web-Weaver struts the runway in front of his fellow Spiders in a variant cover by Kris Anka, who also designed the character.
