On Wednesday, Hasbro celebrated the debut of Andor with a 3-pack featuring characters from The Mandalorian. This might not seem like a timely marketing strategy, but a set with Din Djarin, Ahsoka, and Grogu is pretty much guaranteed to sell…right?

Let’s start with the $66.99 price point. While that would normally translate to roughly $22 a figure, one of them is Grogu, which should never cost the same as any base figure due to how small it is. It also appears to be a straight repack, although the face might feature a slightly different portrait.
Meanwhile, both Ahsoka and Din Djarin are definitely figures we’ve seen before with some very minor (and admittedly nice) upgrades.
Djarin finally comes with a Besker spear that can be clipped onto an attachment on his back.

Ahsoka now comes with a lovely soft goods robe.

Otherwise, these are almost the exact same figures many of us likely already have in our collections — especially Ahsoka. Din Djarin appears to have gotten a slight deco upgrade, but nowhere near enough to justify the cost.
That said, this set would’ve been a great way for new collectors to enter the line if the price was so inflated.
For those who still want this 3-pack, however, there is some good news. The set is an Amazon exclusive, meaning it should be easy to obtain for those who want one. You can preorder it here with an expected arrival in January.
