Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Theory for the United States Championship

WWE Survivor Series WarGames preview, full card, predictions

Jay: Seth is keeping the strap. With Roman having a stranglehold on both top titles and primarily appearing on SmackDown, Raw needs a centerpiece title that can be used to propel feuds and elevated stars and there’s no one on the roster that does that better than Seth Rollins. More than that, Theory is in a rebuilding period now which misfortune being the catalyst for his change – the more he loses, the stronger he gets, so he needs another loss to keep his momentum going. And Lashley? I’m sure Lesnar is waiting in the wings and we’re not too far off WrestleMania season. Lashley doesn’t need the title now so much as he needs something to keep his engine revving to get to a Mania build with Lesnar.
Winner: Seth “Franklin” Rollins

Shane: I can’t argue with anything that Jay said. Seth is retaining Saturday night and will continue to be the major star attraction on Monday nights.
Winner: Seth “Freakin'” Rollins

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor

WWE Survivor Series WarGames preview, full card, predictions

Jay: This is tough. On one hand, The Judgment Day has been dominating lately and Edge is due for a return to give us the inevitable Finn/Rhea vs. Edge/ Beth Phoenix match but on the other hand, Papa H seems hell-bent on rebuilding Finn back to prominence and AJ Styles is bulletproof in the eyes of the fans. I mean, AJ could put over the entire AIPT staff in successive singles matches and still be AJ Styles. I’m honestly at a loss for why they didn’t make this match a 3-on-3 elimination match with The OC vs. Finn, Priest, and Mysterio but hey, whatever. I’m going to go AJ winning with Edge returning but this is the hardest match for me to call.
Winner: AJ Styles

Shane: I’m going to go with Finn Balor here. Balor has been on a hell of a run this year to the point where he rarely loses in singles action. And I don’t think this Survivor Series match is high profile enough for Finn to take an L here. Plus, AJ losing does nothing to his character.
Winner: Finn Balor

Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Shotzi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship

WWE Survivor Series WarGames preview, full card, predictions

Jay: When did this happen? Shotzi? Well, good for her but she ain’t taking it. Ronda, to her credit, will give Shotzi some shine and is underrated in regards to how much she contributes in that respect, but while this Shotzi’s biggest match, it’s just another Saturday for Ronda. Where does Ronda go from here? I really don’t know. I hope she feuds with Shayna but I’m really worried Charlotte is going to come back any second now.
Winner: Ronda Rousey

Shane: Ronda. Easily. No offense to Shotzi. There is literally no way she is going to beat Rousey here Saturday night. I’m sure Shotzi will look good in this match with a little flurry here and there, but expect Rousey to pick up a win.
Winner: Ronda Rousey

Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim and TBD vs. Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley (WarGames)

WWE Survivor Series WarGames preview, full card, predictions

Jay: Team Bianca for several reasons. First, this match will likely herald the triumphant return of Becky and they need to heat her up for a feud with Bayley and/or please, please, please matches with Io and Dakota. Second, Damage CTRL has been getting a lot of heat lately and this is a decent enough time to recalibrate the playing field. And third, I don’t see The Bloodline losing their WarGames match as Roman must pose till his cousin gets home so I don’t see Papa H having the heels win in both WarGames matches, ya know? But at the same time, wouldn’t it be hilarious to have Wendy Choo be Team Bianca’s fifth member?
Winner: Team Bianca

Shane: I am not confident with this prediction, but I will side with Team Belair. The main reason for my lack of confidence is the fact that Rhea Ripley is on the other team… but, so is Nikki Cross. Nikki is the only member of either team that feels like a safe choice to take the deciding pin fall. Unless Rhea pins Bianca and sets up that feud. Hmmm. I digress. I’m still going to pick Team Belair for the win. Bonus prediction: Beth Phoenix is the final member. It just makes sense storyline wise. Kudos to WWE though because I can think of at least 5-6 plausible team members (Beth, Becky, Charlotte, Dana, Teagan Nox, Candice LeRae) and each one makes sense.
Winners: Team Bianca

The Bloodline vs. The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens (WarGames)

WWE Survivor Series WarGames preview, full card, predictions

Jay: The Bloodline is taking it. Why? Because The Bloodline has won every match/feud they’ve been in since 2020. Make no mistake, just because we know the ending doesn’t mean the ride won’t be fun as I really don’t know how they are going to win. Well, it likely come down to a dilemma between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn with Sheamus getting a lot of shine during the match but I don’t know know, that so here’s hoping for a great time.
Winner: The Bloodline

Shane: Never bet against the Bloodline. Period. Especially when this is their first match together as a full unit.
Winners: The Bloodline
