Today, Marvel Comics has teased #XMenVote 2023 with the promise of another round of voting to decide the X-Men lineup. This is the third annual X-Men vote, with previous years starting near the end of January.
As in years past, fans can vote for who they want on the X-Men team and then the full team is announced during the Hellfire Gala. The current team announced last summer includes Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Synch will be Iceman, Havok, Forge, and Magik.
To tease voting, Marvel tweeted an image of a red envelope going into a ballot box made of wood or Earth. The box likely symbolizes Krakoa. Customary of this era of X-Men comics, there’s a tube-TV effect over the image.
The same streaky tube-TV lines were used in last year’s teaser, as you can see below. This year was a bit more robust overall, though.
