Studios has revealed today at the ComicsPRO trade association for comic book retailers that Christopher Cantwell and Germán García’s series Briar is upgrading from a miniseries to an ongoing series. The hit series, which we here at AIPT loved, is a savage reimagining of the Sleeping Beauty fairytale that launched captivating fans’ imaginations this past Fall.

Adding this ongoing series alongside other proven franchises like James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Erdera’s Something Is Killing The Children and Stephanie Phillips and Flaviano’s Grim creates a curated line of unique, dark, female lead titles at BOOM! Studios.
