On Tuesday, Hasbro revealed two long-awaited figures for their Star Wars Vintage Collection and Black Series toylines. We’ll start with the Vintage Collection one first since it’s available for preorder:
Star Wars Vintage Collection Tusken Warrior

You likely remember this character from the Book of Boba Fett as she brutally trained Fett on how to use a gaderffii stick before becoming a trusted ally (who was later murdered by the Pyke Crime Syndicate).
The sculpt and paint on the figure look great, although I wish they’d used soft good for the headpiece. Thankfully, the soft goods on the lower half of the figure’s tunic should allow it a wide range of motion for posing.
The Tusken Warrior will retail for $16.99 with an expected arrival in Summer 2023. It will be available for preorder on Wednesday at 1:00 PM EDT from most major retailers.
Star Wars Black Series Tusken Chieftan

This is normally the part of my toy articles where I start complaining about Hasbro’s recent offerings, but I’ll be damned if this isn’t a gorgeous action figure. While I do wish it came with more accessories (couldn’t help myself), the paint, soft goods, and necklace are absolutely superb.
The Tusken Chieftan will retail for $24.99 with an expected arrival in Spring of 2024…yes, Spring of 2024. Despite the one year gap, it will still be available for preorder on Wednesday at 1:00 EDT from most major retailers.
