These covers depict the Guardians at various moments in their storied history, including the original debut, their 2000s reinvention, and more. They also celebrate the many lineups of the team, which are listed below.

New York, NY— March 28, 2023 — On April 12, Marvel’s band of cosmic super heroes begin an exciting new era in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #1 by writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Kev Walker. To celebrate this new run and the 55th anniversary of the title, Marvel’s Stormbreakers Class of 2023 have depicted the team in stunning new variant covers!
Releasing throughout May, these covers depict the Guardians at various moments in their storied history including the original debut, their 2000s reinvention, and more.
