This is usually where I proclaim that WWE SmackDown will be live tonight, but this time, since the Superstars have already made the long trip to Saudi Arabia for tomorrow’s Night of Champions, SmackDown was taped last week at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC. Don’t worry, though – we’ll keep this preview spoiler-free. Let’s take a look at everything WWE has announced for tonight’s SmackDown:
AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross

WWE’s official preview:
Just one day before his historic showdown with Seth “Freakin” Rollins to determine the new World Heavyweight Champion at WWE Night of Champions, AJ Styles will take on Karrion Kross.
Kross indicated he was coming after Styles when his associate Scarlett presented a Styles tarot card.
Can Styles pick up a huge victory over Kross, or will Kross disrupt the timeline and dash Styles’ hopes of becoming champion before he even arrives at WWE Night of Champions?
Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi vs. Damage CTRL

Raquel Rodriguez has been flying solo since she and her tag team partner Liv Morgan had to relinquish the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles due to Morgan’s injury.
This past Friday, Rodriguez, sans Morgan, was confronted by Bayley and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL, who challenged Rodriguez to find a partner to face them on the blue brand.
After coming to Raquel’s aid against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville on Raw, Shotzi has been established as Rodriguez’s partner!
See if the new tandem can pick up valuable momentum against Bayley & SKY en route to both teams competing in a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions this coming Monday.
Austin Theory (c) vs. Sheamus for the United States Championship

WWE’s official preview:
Since arriving to SmackDown, United States Champion Austin Theory has faced an enormous amount of disrespect. According to him, anyway.
After losing in the first round of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, Theory had plenty to say this past week. That was until “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus arrived to silence the braggadocious champion with a vicious Brogue Kick.
Can Theory withstand the punishment that Sheamus will bring, or is Sheamus poised to become the new U.S. Champion?
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa to join The KO Show

WWE’s official preview:
“The KO Show” will up the ante in intensity as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa join the show.
The animosity between Reigns, Sikoa, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn has been boiling for almost half a year, as the two sides will compete for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at WWE Night of Champions.
With plenty of history between the four, the tension will be dialed up to an 11 when Reigns and Sikoa appear on “The KO Show” for the first time.
