Comics writer Kelly Thompson has revealed via her Twitter account a Black Canary lead Birds of Prey series is coming this fall, and joining her are Leonardo Romero and Jordie Bellaire on art. The series will be her first Big-Two title since wrapping up her run on Captain Marvel with Captain Marvel #50, which releases June 14th.
Very little is known about the new series, though Thompson did enlighten us a bit by saying, “Black Canary is building the most dangerous Birds of Prey team yet… who do you think will make the cut?”
My guess is Huntress, for sure, but maybe someone is even more superpowered?
