The story follows a young teen named Jin Wang who is trying to fit in. One day, a mysterious new student arrives who turns Jin’s world upside down by not only affecting his status in the high school social hierarchy, but also drawing him into a conflict where Chinese mythical gods are at war. The series explores themes of identity, family, and culture. Spoilers Ahead!
