In The Devil’s Cut, every turn of the page delivers on the creative promise of DSTLRY ushering in the next era of creator-owned comics, bringing something fresh, thought-provoking, and striking to the table.

“When we conceived of DSTLRY, we wanted to change the relationship between publisher and creator in a way that encouraged creators to bring their best. We’ve been incredibly excited about our all-star roster of creators, but we’ve somehow managed to be further blown away by the detail, creativity, and artistry in their work on this book,” said DSTLRY co-founders David Steinberger and Chip Mosher in a joint statement. “From the preview art fans can see today to the stunning finished product that will hit shelves in August, we couldn’t be more proud to introduce the world to DSTLRY via The Devil’s Cut.”

LOS ANGELES, CA / NEW YORK, NY – June 20, 2023 – Today, DSTLRY, the next-generation publisher redefining creator-owned comic books and collectibles, revealed a sneak peek at its debut print and digital release, The Devil’s Cut, with 11 art previews from its 11 top-shelf stories, as well as the unveiling of all covers that are currently available to order via Diamond Comic Distributors and Lunar Distribution. Arriving in stores and online on Wednesday, August 30, The Devil’s Cut is an 88-page, premium format one-shot that hails from the fearless minds of DSTLRY’s Founding Creators and Friends.

The Devil’s Cut is available for pre-order now and will be on sale at local comic shops and digitally via www.dstlry.co on Wednesday, August 30. Digital copies will be available directly from DSTLRY until September 6, while digital owners can resell their copies at any time on the DSTLRY marketplace at a price of their choosing, with a percentage of each resale paid directly to the creators. Retailers can place print orders now through Lunar Distribution (FOC: July 2; 0623DY327) and Diamond Comic Distributors (FOC: July 3; JUN231789).
