Welcome back to another edition of Fantastic Five! The best comics of the week this time around all came from the big two, and DC in particular handed in two perfect 10s! Let’s take a look at the books:
#5: The Incredible Hulk #1

#4: Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain #5
Full of heart and drama, Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain #5 is a fitting finale for the Braddocks and their assorted allies. Dark days may be ahead for mutantkind, but Captain Britain has found a happy place for her story to resolve for the time being. Telling a story this long, this queerly, this magically, in the state of current corporate comics creation is a thing worth celebrating, and this finale is a job well done.

#2: Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #16
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest just finds new ways to get better and better. Not only does it beautifully modernize familiar tones and ideas, but it continues to keep strong momentum. We may know that everything’s going to be okay, as this is before the current timeline, but the story remains riveting. All of this comes together to deliver a fun story that keeps the stakes high without relying on shock value. Overall, this issue, much like the series, is a can’t-miss for those looking to enjoy something fun and exciting.

#1: Wonder Woman #800
There can be no future without first there being a past. And while a new journey is about to begin, Wonder Woman #800 is a celebration of all that has come before it. From the writing to the art to the colors to the letters, this milestone issue of Wonder Woman is exactly what it should be: a stunningly drawn and colored comic issue that celebrates and captures the joy, strength, humanity, compassion, empathy, and true spirit of one of the world’s most important heroes.
