WWE SmackDown is live tonight from the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden in New York City! That’s reason enough to get excited about tonight’s show, but on top of that, the tables are turning on the Tribal Chief as Roman Reigns heads to Tribal Court! Let’s take a look at everything announced for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown:
AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross
WWE’s official preview:
Two weeks ago, The Harbinger of Doom inflicted suffering onto The Phenomenal One, teaming with Scarlett to defeat AJ Styles and Michin.
The next week, Kross laid out his intentions for Styles as he relished the suffering that he caused Styles and vowed to do it again.
In their first one-on-one matchup, Styles wound up the victor. Can The Phenomenal One defeat Kross once more or will Kross be successful in his path of pain?
#4: Austin Theory (c) vs. Sheamus for the United States Championship
WWE’s official preview:
U.S. Champion Austin Theory has made quite the enemy of The Brawling Brutes since coming to SmackDown. In his first United States Title defense on the blue brand, Theory overcame The Celtic Warrior, making new friends with Pretty Deadly, who helped him win.
Since then, Theory and Pretty Deadly have collided with The Brawling Brutes, with Theory and Pretty Deadly getting the better of brawling trio.
Last week on SmackDown, Theory took down Ridge Holland in a Championship Contender’s Match, continuing to beat him down after the match, prompting The Celtic Warrior to come to his aid.
Next week, Sheamus will get another chance at the United States Title as he faces Theory once again. Can Sheamus turn the U.S. Title into the banger championship, or will Theory hold the status quo?
The Grayson Waller Effect with special guest Edge
WWE’s official preview:
On Friday, “The Grayson Waller Effect” gets rated-R as WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be a guest on the hottest new show on SmackDown.
The Rated-R Superstar has not been seen since his first-round exit in the World Heavyweight Title Tournament won by Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
What brings Edge to “The Grayson Waller Effect”?
Roman Reigns heads to Tribal Court
WWE’s official preview:
On Saturday at Money in the Bank, “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa fell to The Usos in The Bloodline Civil War. To make matters worse for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Reigns was pinned for the first time since TLC 2019 with Jey Uso defeating The Head of the Table after an earth-shattering Uso Splash.
This Friday, live from Madison Square Garden, The Head of the Table heads to Tribal Court as SmackDown will witness the “Trial of The Tribal Chief.”
What will Reigns say when he goes on trial?
