2023 Emmy Nominations revealed

On Wednesday, nominations for the 75th Prime Time Emmy Awards were officially revealed.

To be eligible this year, a show had to air between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023. As expected, Succession cleaned up with 30 nominations. On the genre front, The Last of Us led the way with 24 nominations. Prey didn’t get nearly enough love (only six nominations), but it’s still good to see such a fantastic movie receive high-level recognition despite not being released in theaters.

The lists below are not complete, but they do highlight many of the genre series that AIPT reviews (or that we just like a whole lot). We’ve also decided to put the writing categories at the top for obvious reasons.
