On Wednesday, the ever-reliable Yakface.com reported that the upcoming Ahsoka wave for Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series toyline had been leaked on eBay.
We already knew about Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren from the Hasbro Star Wars panel at this year’s Comic-Con. Let’s take a look at the other offerings and see what might be worth picking up.
Fair warning — there may be spoilers for Ahsoka in here, so proceed at your own risk.
- Morgan Elsbeth: The figure looks great, although the picture is a bit too blurry for us to make a final call on whether or not the facial portrait looks enough like actress Diana Lee Inosanto. Sadly, the lack of any accessories will likely make this a peg warmer.
- Ezra Bridger: In case you had any doubts, Ezra will definitely be showing up in Ahsoka. I’ll need to get a better look before deciding if this one’s going to be purchased.
- HK-87 Assassin Droid: This one was already meh before considering that it’s not screen accurate — at least not yet.
- Chopper: As someone who routinely complains about Hasbro’s prices, I have to admit that I am completely willing to overpay for this one. Chopper is my spirit animal and I’ve wanted a Black Series version of the little for a while. Unfortunately, the figure goes for crazy high prices on the after market. Now those of us who want one can overpay at a much more reasonable rate.
