WWE Raw is live tonight from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. We’re less than a week away from WWE Payback, and there’s a lot to clear up before we get to that Premium Live Event. Let’s take a look at everything announced for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw:
WWE Monday Night Raw card: August 28, 2023
The New Day vs. The Viking Raiders

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will take on Erik and Ivar of The Viking Raiders in a matchup of two of the top tag teams on Monday Night Raw.
The Viking Raiders issued an open challenge on the Aug. 7 edition of Raw and it was answered by none other than The New Day, which led to an incredible contest between the two teams.
While Kingston and Woods walked away the victors, Erik and Ivar are determined to exact some vengeance the only way they know how: with a battle.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

The rivalry between Tommaso Ciampa and “Big” Bronson Reed is far from over. The two have been embroiled in a personal vendetta ever since Reed interfered in Ciampa’s match with The Miz around a month ago.
Now, they will step back inside the ring for a second time looking to surpass each other in the pecking order. The last time they faced off, The Aus-Zilla came away with the victory after Shinsuke Nakamura distracted Ciampa.
Chad Gable vs. Ludwig Kaiser

This past Monday night on Raw, Chad Gable did the unthinkable by beating Intercontinental Champion Gunther. Unfortunately for the master of the Alpha Academy, he won by count-out, walking out with the victory but not the Intercontinental Championship.
Angered by the loss, Gunther expressed dismay and embarrassment to his Imperium cohorts Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Vowing to make things right, Kaiser will take on Gable in singles action. Kaiser has been looking to gain favor with Alpha Academy’s Maxxine Dupri, who has repeatedly slapped the Imperium member.
Can Gable keep up his winning momentum by dispatching the rising Kaiser?
Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark (Falls Count Anywhere)
WWE’s official preview:
Before The Man steps inside a steel cage with Trish Stratus at WWE Payback, she will get her hands on Trish Stratus’ protégé, Zoey Stark.
Lynch has been trying in vain to get to Trish Stratus and Stark for weeks and will finally go one-one with Stark, this time in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
