Courtesy of Dark Horse Comics, AIPT can exclusively reveal a new miniseries called Lester of the Lesser Gods. From creators Eric Powell and comedian and voice actor Lucky Yates, the four-issue series is set to launch into comic shops on May 22, 2024. The project falls under the Albatross Funnybooks imprint.

Lester, the LARPing bastard son of Odin, wanders the post-apocalyptic wasteland after thwarting Satan’s attempt to bring about the end of days. But can this hero of the downtrodden survive the battle arena of Will Frye the Technomancer Guy?

MILWAUKIE, Ore.,— Eric Powell (The Goon, Four Gathered on Christmas Eve) and comedian and voice actor Lucky Yates (Archer) have combined their twisted comedic talents in a new comic miniseries, Lester of the Lesser Gods! Originally created as an unproduced animated short by Powell a decade ago, Lester has been reborn with award-winning artist Gideon Kendall (MegaGhost, Marley’s Ghost) illustrating and lettering the series. Lester of the Lesser Gods #1 will also feature a special variant cover illustrated by Powell.
