PORTLAND, OR – Following a groundswell of retail support, upstart publisher Battle Quest Comics is proud to announce the next era of their growing publishing slate, ahead of the release of the third issue in their core series No’Madd, which returns to shelves on February 7.

In the aftermath of No’madd’s journey to the City of Empty Towers, his son, Taron, is mentored by Whispers, a hermit seer. Taron must prepare for his role in the battle against the alien invaders that threaten his home.  Meanwhile, across the sea of storms, a sinister new foe arises. The third issue in this latest series returns next month, alongside the solicitation of the company’s first-ever double sized annual.

Battle Quest Comics’ first double-sized Epic features two stories from both No’Madd and Steel Siege. First, No’madd must fight for his life against an advanced alien monstrosity. Second, in a tale from the Steel Siege universe, a ruthless assassin threatens Dove’s volatile diplomatic mission.

This will lead readers directly into the special Steel Siege Free Comic Book Day one-shot, Steel Siege: Search and Rescue, co-written by Battle Quest publisher Andrew Kafoury and Justin Zimmerman (27 RunGhosts in a Burning City), with art by Sid Ven Blue (Transformers).

More information on these and future Battle Quest Comics releases will be revealed in conjunction with the ComicsPRO Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA from February 22–24.

In the meantime, pick up both the Steel Siege: The Vulture and The Dove graphic novel, and the next issue of No’Madd: The Cave of Broken Tombs on February 7, and reserve your copy of the Battle Quest Comics’ EPIC annual with your favorite comic shop today!
