Courtesy of Sandstorm Comics, AIPT can exclusively reveal the initial slate of comics series from the publisher. These initial launch titles were previewed in a special premium magazine format at their inaugural Storm the Block event in December, but now you can peruse them at your leisure below!
Additionally, the company will be distributing these for free this weekend at the Middle East Film & Comic Con in Abu Dhabi.
Headed by Mo Abedin and Mohammad Alshaibani, Sandstorm’s key initiative is to educate and support creators from the United Arab Emirates in their endeavor to create comics through the support of Abu Dhabi leadership. This program grants unique opportunities to UAE Nationals but to Residents of the UAE from all over the world.
The projects previewed below feature a few familiar American comics creators like Peter Tomasi, Ron Marz, and John Arcudi, who are involved in script editing for the various creators.
