Our Channel Surfing TV picks this week will make you laugh. Harry has evolved from destroyer to protector in the new season of Resident Alien. See what kind of adventures a famous rapper gets into during his everyday life in The Vince Staples Show. Then, check into a haunted bed & breakfast in the third season of Ghosts

The Bumbling Savior of Earth

When we last left Resident Alien, Harry learns that his people have forfeited their claims of Earth to the alien species known as the Greys. This new threat looks to destroy the planet, and instead of leaving Earth behind, Harry decides to stay and protect the citizens of Patience that he has grown close to.

In the third season, Harry partners with his former adversary, General McCallister in order to defeat the Greys. Unfortunately, their foes have sent a hybrid spy to keep a close eye on Harry. Elsewhere, new roommates Asta and D’arcy are having struggles transitioning to their living situation, while Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv continue to investigate the murder of Peter Bach, the Alien Tracker.

The season three premiere of Resident Alien airs Wednesday, February 14, on Syfy.

So Much Drama in the L-B-C

Rapper and actor, Vince Staples, stars in his own show where he plays an exaggerated version of himself. He considers himself kind of famous but not, kind of rich but not, and kind of a criminal but not. Follow along with his daily misadventures in this five-episode series. Based off of the trailer, you get Atlanta vibes but out in Southern California.

Stream the entire first season of The Vince Staples Show beginning Thursday, February 15, on Netflix.

Crossing Over

Ghosts is an American adaptation of a British series of the same name. A married couple, Sam and Jay, inherit a country home from Sam’s great aunt. They have dreams of converting the Woodstone into a bed & breakfast place but soon discover the building is in poor shape and is haunted by ghosts that only Sam can see.

The big cliffhanger from last season was that Sam saw a flash of light coming from the Woodstone indicating one of the deceased residents finally crossed over into the afterlife. Which one of the numerous ghosts was it? We’ll have to watch the new season to find out.

The season three premiere of Ghosts airs Thursday, February 15, on CBS.
