Marvel Comics has revealed further details on Ultimates #1 in the form of a trailer. Written by Deniz Camp with art by Juan Frigeri, the series makes its debut in comic shops on June 5th.
First revealed by Camp via the 2024 FCBD news, we now know the lineup of the team, which consists of Ant-Man, Thor, Doom, Captain America, Lady Sif, Wasp, and Iron Lad. The firs issue will launch on June 5th.
So what’s Ultimates #1 about?
Months ago, Tony Stark sent Peter Parker a radioactive spider to set him back on the course to become Spider-Man. Since then, Iron Lad (Stark), Captain America, Doom, Thor, and Sif have begun to do the same for other lost heroes, building a network of super-powered heroes hungry for change… Now, they must band together to destroy the Maker’s Council and restore freedom and free will to a world ruled from the shadows!
