DC First Look: DC All In Special #1 shows off Darkseid

Darkseid is…forlorn in new ‘DC All in Special’ #1 preview page.

Earlier this week, creators shared a double-page splash from DC All In Special #1, and there’s even more to ogle with a share from writer Scott Snyder. The page, drawn by Wes Craig with colors by Mike Spicer, reveals Darkseid, and was shared on X.

The special due out October 2nd is a 64-page one-shot setting up the new DC initiative that’ll change everything. The special is written by Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson with art by Daniel Sampere and Wes Craig.

The special “Reintroduces Darkseid as who he should be. The greatest villain of the DCU,” Snyder said back on July 17th. “Darkseid starts to realize something has always been missing. He senses something has changed, and once he realizes this, it sets him on a quest.” Darkseid will then collide with a new Justice League.

The page clearly shows Darkseid on Apokolips. He looks a bit forlorn, and in the final panel, he appears to be…cutting off his own hand. At least from the angle it looks like he is, but you tell me!

Check out the page revealed below!
