Sweet ‘Creature Commandos’ apparel and collectibles

Check out Creature Commandos shirts, Funko Pops! and more.

The James Gunn era of the DC Universe begins with the release of Creature Commandos. The adult animated series revolves around, no surprise since Gunn serves as creator and writer, a superteam of oddballs.

The Creature Commandos are a black ops team of monsters who carry out missions considered too dangerous for humans. Its members include the amphibious scientist Nina Mazursky, The Suicide Squad’s Weasel, the nazi killing android G.I. Robot, Eric Frankenstein and the Bride, the radioactive Doctor Phosphorus, and their leader Rick Flagg Sr.

The show premieres this December, but you don’t have to wait that long to get your hands on some sweet merchandise. Over at the DC Shop, they have three different T-shirt designs, each coming in a variety of different colors. The one with the new old DC logo is pretty nice. The T-shirts are $25.00

Also at the DC Shop, you can pre-order Funko Pop! figures of the entire team. Each are sold separately. If you’re looking to save a little money, consider pre-ordering from the Funko website since they retail for $12.00 instead of $14.95. Plus, there is a glow in the dark version of Doctor Phosphorus as well.

If you’re looking for a collectible that’s a bit more higher end than a Funko Pop!, there is the McFarlane Toys – DC Direct Weasel (Creature Commandos) 1:8 Scale Resin Statue. It stands roughly 9 inches tall with the base and sells for $129.99. It’s up for pre-order now and will release Spring 2025.
