“Civil Corps” has been an exciting arc in Green Lantern, and it is wild to realize that it is not crossing over with any other comic series. The event shows that the Green Lantern title is indeed going All In, and this issue proves it. There is so much going on that you can finally see why there is such a need for the Green Lantern Corps and its many ring-wielders from Earth, as evil is coming from all directions. So, how are Jeremy Adams and Xermanico bringing excitement and entertainment to this issue?

DC
I think it is incredible that Earth’s Green Lanterns, from Alan Scott to Sojourner Mullein, got moments in this issue – it might be the first time all these generations and legacies have worked together. It must be quite a task to make Lantern fans happy, but Jeremy Adams shows that he is up to giving moments to all these legacies in this issue, which shows just how evil Thaaros and Varron are. Plus, this is wonderful as this is the DC All In initial arc, and the series shows that it can be inviting to all fans as there is so much to choose from, and hopefully, it will open up fans of a specific Lantern to checking out another Corps member.

DC
I also appreciate how Jeremy Adams is pushing the villains to the edge with their invasion and appropriation of the Emotional Spectrum. The fallout from this event could lead to some fascinating stories for future arcs if played right. Varron was such a badass villain here that I might go back and check out the Green Lantern War Journal series to get more of his background. I like how Varron was played in the issue that even the Durlans fear him, and their major worry comes to pass in this issue, hyping up the element of danger for the big showdown.
I want to include Xermanico because his abilities add so much style to this issue. I love how characters seem to pop out of panels as they move forward, and the pages and panels that show villains and heroes leveling up are so eye-catching that they could be covers or posters. Credit colorist Romulo Fajardo Jr. for enhancing those moments, as the color and energy become one on the art. I love how this issue ended, as the cliffhanger’s first page had my jaw drop, but the second page brought my excitement to some incredible heights! This event is so unique that I can’t wait for its conclusion, as it feels like the stakes are just too crucial for the DCU.
Jeremy Adams and Xermanico are relentless in their pursuit of delivering exceptional comics, and this issue promises to delight any Lantern enthusiast. This single issue features numerous Lantern Legacies, making it a rare occurrence that might unite Lantern fans as their heroes confront formidable evil while ascending into the Emotional Spectrum. Sinestro and Kyle Rayner fans will be thrilled by the harmonious blend of an engaging story and exceptional artwork, providing an entertaining experience regardless of their preferences.
