#4: Ultimate Spider-Man #13
Ultimate Spider-Man #13 continues the series’ streak of excellence, blending fan-service moments with fresh storytelling to create a thrilling, high-stakes issue. Hickman’s inventive remix of Spider-Man’s canon and Checchetto’s masterful art make this chapter both exciting and emotional, though the monthly format slightly hinders the narrative’s pacing. Regardless, this issue solidifies the series as a standout, offering a must-read experience for fans.

#3: Barbarella #3
I hope this powerhouse team of Blake Northcott and Anna Morozova have a long run on Barbarella. I’ve always been a huge fan of the character and this team has successfully captured everything that makes her so unique and delightful. The outstanding art and writing on this series perfectly captures the beauty, wonder and excitement of Barbarella and her pop-art universe.

#2: Green Arrow #20
This is a can’t-miss issue of Green Arrow. But, why? Well, not only does the story continue to be a captivating mystery that makes for an engaging comic book, but that seems to be the creative team’s bare minimum. This story does everything it can to make the reader ask themselves hard questions about morality, ethics, and complacency. Through and through, this story, like its predecessors, has all the markings of being one of Green Arrow’s best stories to date.

#1: Absolute Wonder Woman #4
Absolute Wonder Woman has the added benefit of not only introducing the character to newer readers as Thompson and Sherman lean on a more modern telling of Greek mythology and its monsters, but has the strength of remaining true to fans of the character. I feel that the future of superhero comics lies within creatively freeing titles such as this, and with a change in comics coming within the next few years, it is becoming more likely this series will be remembered for a while.
