Free for All
Ted Brooks – Real estate magnate and reigning champion of the FREE FOR ALL games. He’s the prototypical neo-gladiator in this world of tomorrow: a highly motivated, highly successful, cold-blooded psychopath.
Luella Dominguez – The beating heart of this story. The former business partner and spouse of Ted Brooks, she’s built up her own fortunes to earn a chance at facing off with her ex. She’s armored herself (metaphorically and literally) against what Ted can bring to the battle, but it remains to be seen if she has what it takes to win the title.
The Goddamn Tragedy
“Long story short: the Janson family are struggling to make ends meet. Work is scarce and the family finds themselves between a rock and a hard place – leave their home and try to find success elsewhere or toil in poverty. I think this is a very real and very relatable position to be put in, whether you’re in 2024 or in 1846. Leo Janson is down on his luck and is increasingly frustrated that fate seems to be conspiring against him. Irena, his wife, hopes for the best but is wary of Leo’s questionable choices. Finally, there is Ellen, their young daughter, who finds herself adrift on an ocean of other people’s problems.”
Plague House
Del: Del is the leader of a group of ghost hunters, who, after encountering death as a child, is determined to understand if there’s something more after life. He wants to heal any tortured souls.
Holland: Holland, the quick-witted streamer, tags along to prove Del wrong. An online ghost-denying sensation, they don’t believe in anything beyond and use various ghost-hunting gadgets to prove it.
Jacob: Jacob is a priest haunted by an exorcism he saw as a young boy. He is the third member of the trio, and strives to offer spirits peace and cleanse demonic presence.
Orin: Orin McCabe rots in prison after murdering his wife, children and father. The spirits of his family remain in his house for Del, Holland and Jacob to encounter.
Mine is a Long, Lonesome Grave
“Harley Creed is a tired, dangerous man. That’s the vibe we were trying to get across, which I think Chris nailed. I’ve described him as redneck John Wick, and think his physicality represents that. He’s not young, he’s not jacked like a body builder, but Chris gives him a kind of menacing power anyway. And one of the greatest hairlines since Norman Osborn.”
Out of Alcatraz
Frank & Clarence: Frank Morris and Clarence Anglin are two men who escaped from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary on the night of June 12, 1962, along with Clarence’s older brother, John.
Miriam: Miriam is a whip-smart, no-nonsense woman who has her own plans for the convicts once they reach the mainland. Frank doesn’t know why she’s a part of their escape, and she’s not telling.
Bob & Cy: Cy Michederos (right) is an agent with the FBI in San Francisco, and his old friend Bob Canton (left), formerly of the U.S. Marshal Service, comes to town to work alongside Cy as he investigates the escape. Old flames rekindle and tensions flare when the men approach the investigation with differing senses of urgency.
Mitchell: Mitchell is a rancher living north of the Bay Area who becomes entangled with Frank, Clarence, and Miriam in pursuit of his own kind of escape plan.
