Dark Horse Comics has announced Riptide, a new graphic novel by Alex Vede, is coming to comic shops on August 20, 2025. Vede’s next graphic novel is coming this May via Dark Horse as well.

The secretive NARWAL organization is hiding powerful secrets during the most contentious point of the Cold War. One marine biologist, Max, is drawn into the mysteries surrounding whale communications that mention the legendary Ceto—an advanced underwater civilization believed to be a myth.
