Blizzard’s Battle.net service is undergoing a DDoS attack for the second time this week, as players are reporting disconnections, high latency, and more issues playing games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and more that rely on Battle.net’s servers.
Players began reporting issues logging in and staying logged into games at around 1:00pm ET. At approximately 4:00pm ET, Blizzard acknowledged the issue is in fact a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack.
[#Bnet] We are currently experiencing a DDoS attack, which may result in high latency and disconnections for some players. We are actively working to mitigate this issue.
