TMNT Nightwatcher #7 (written by Juni Ba, art by Fero Pe, and colors by Luis Antonio Delgado) is the series’ final issue, and it goes on sale on April 9.
It’s a great looking set of pages with action and intensity, but it’s also sad to see this series go. Fero Pe agrees:
We’ve reached the end of the Nightwatcher comic. I’m a little sad to see it end, but I’m very proud of the comic we created. Juni, Luis, Nathan, and I – the same team that started it finished the series. So readers won’t get seven separate issues, but one big book with a great story and gorgeous art. haha!
With this book, I had the opportunity to design many new characters: Nightwatcher’s suit alongside Juni, the suit’s transformations. Yes, there’s one more. Cool new enemies and very interesting supporting characters.
I pushed my art to the limit, and I think you can see how it evolved over the issues. It was a grueling road at times to finish the comic on time, but I don’t regret the end result. I hope you enjoy it.
