Marvel’s August 2025 solicitations don’t drop until tomorrow, but AIPT has your exclusive first look at Miles Morales: Spider-Man #37 — and it’s a double debut you don’t want to miss.
Written by Cody Ziglar with art by Luigi Zagaria, the issue marks the first full appearances of Inari and White Cat, two brand-new, high-stakes players in the Marvel Universe. These slick, superpowered thieves are making waves across Brooklyn, and it’s up to Miles — fresh off the chaos of GOD WAR — to stop them. But he’s not alone: Misty Knight is leading the charge and may just call in a certain feline expert for backup.
Alongside the main cover by Federico Vicentini, Marvel is debuting two dynamic variants — an Inari First Appearance Variant Cover by Peach Momoko, and a Design Variant by Taurin Clarke, who brought Inari’s light-based aesthetic to life.
“We really wanted to give her a distinct visual to reflect her powerset and background,” Clarke tells AIPT. “Playful yet powerful, sleek but capable; not a killer but she’ll do what’s needed for the finer things in life! The fact that her powers are light-based was such a fun challenge and reflect her versatility in any situation – she’s crafty! Very excited to see her make her big debut!”
White Cat may look familiar to sharp-eyed fans — she was first introduced as part of Marvel’s New Champions variant cover initiative. But this issue marks her official entry into the Marvel mythos.
