Behaviour Interactive officially confirmed the release date of Dead by Daylight: Five Nights at Freddy’s. The upcoming crossover will be available to all fans on June 17, 2025, just days after Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic (June 13, 2025).

Behaviour Interactive revealed at PAX East that the villain of the survival horror game is Five Nights at Freddy’s villain, Springtrap. This will be the first time gamers can play as the infamous antagonist. While not much information has been released about Springtrap in the crossover, it was revealed that Matthew Lillard, who starred in the film adaptation of Five Night at Freddy’s will lend his voice and appearance to the character.
Two unique costumes will be available to gamers in Dead by Daylight: Five Nights at Freddy’s, Clown Springtrap and Toxic Springtrap. The iconic antagonist will also appear in his Yellow Rabbit suit and have dialogue recorded by Lillard specifically for the game. Additionally, a new adaptation of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Map will also appear in the two major franchises’ collaboration.
Dead by Daylight: Five Nights at Freddy’s will be released on June 17, 2025, available on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
