After a blockbuster relaunch earlier this year, Heavy Metal Magazine is back with Issue #2, and fans heading to San Diego Comic-Con (July 23–27) will get the first crack at it. The issue will debut early at Booth #4804 (shared by Heavy Metal and GenSeven Creations), complete with two SDCC-exclusive variant covers: one by longtime contributor Lorenzo Sperlonga (limited to 500 copies) and one by the Escorza Bros (just 200 copies available). The magazine will then go wide at comic shops and newsstands on July 30.
Editor-in-Chief Frank Forte shared his excitement: “The support for the relaunch has been incredible. We can’t wait to give fans an early look at Issue #2 and continue pushing boundaries in sci-fi and fantasy storytelling.”
Fans can meet the Heavy Metal team during SDCC, with Forte signing at Booth #1429 and Sperlonga at Booth #4812.
