Over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, fans got their first look at Fiona Staples’ striking new cover for Saga Book Four, the latest oversized hardcover edition of the award-winning series by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples. This highly anticipated collection arrives in comic shops on April 15, 2026, and in bookstores on April 28 from Image Comics.
The cover captures the defiant energy of teen protagonist Hazel, now navigating adolescence in the middle of a never-ending interplanetary war. “For over a decade, readers have watched Hazel grow up in real time,” said Vaughan. “Fiona’s latest cover perfectly reflects our culturally torn, adolescent heroine. This volume is my favorite yet.”
Book Four collects issues #55–72, including the arc that earned Saga its second Hugo Award. The deluxe edition features exclusive bonus content, such as never-before-seen artwork from fan-favorite creators handpicked by Staples and Vaughan. It marks a major turning point in Hazel’s life, as she and her found family set off on an emotional journey after suffering a devastating loss.
