PANICK ENTERTAINMENT has unveiled the first spine-tingling trailer for Black Diamond, a Nordic-set psychological horror comic series by writer Brendan Columbus and artist Danilo Beyruth. With haunting visuals and a mounting sense of dread, the trailer teases the chilling stakes of the upcoming mini-series—one that fuses the slow-burn tension of Hitchcock with the pagan terror of The Wicker Man.
In Black Diamond, a picturesque family ski trip turns into a nightmare when Owen and Victoria Welch’s young son vanishes on the slopes. But this isn’t a simple missing persons case. The couple is soon confronted by a secluded mountain cult that makes them an unthinkable offer: bring another child as a sacrifice, or lose their own forever.
As the clock ticks and authorities grow suspicious, the Welches spiral into a desperate moral crisis, forcing them to confront how far they’re willing to go for family—and what they might lose in the process.
The series features moody, snow-drenched interiors by Beyruth, atmospheric coloring by Lee Loughridge, and a haunting cover by Ben Templesmith that sets the tone for the supernatural dread to come.
Black Diamond promises to be a gripping descent into terror, guilt, and the dark power of belief.
