Marvel’s first-ever blind bags launch with ‘Ultimate Endgame’ #1, and fans could pull secret covers

This December, ULTIMATE ENDGAME #1 arrives at comic shops in TRUE BELIEVERS BLIND BAGS, Marvel Comics’ first-ever blind bag program.

Marvel is gearing up for one of its biggest launches of the year with ULTIMATE ENDGAME, a five-issue event series from writer Deniz Camp and artists Terry Dodson and Jonas Scharf, arriving this December. Revealed last month at San Diego Comic-Con, the series will debut Marvel’s first-ever TRUE BELIEVERS BLIND BAGS: A new program that gives fans the chance to pick up Ultimate Endgame #1 in sealed bags featuring cover art by Rod Reis. Inside each bag is a surprise cover, including variants available only through this program, plus ultra-rare secret covers that won’t be revealed until fans discover them.

Each Blind Bag includes one copy of Ultimate Endgame #1, with the possibility of scoring one of these covers:

  • Main Cover by Mark Brooks

  • Foil Variant by Derrick Chew

  • Variants by CAFÚ, Sanford Greene, Alexander Lozano, Peach Momoko, Dan Panosian, Ryan Stegman

  • Variant + Black & White Virgin Variant by Skottie Young

  • Variant by Chip Zdarsky

  • Blue Line Blank Variant

  • Virgin Variants by Mark Brooks and Peach Momoko (Blind Bag exclusives)

  • Homage Variant by Stonehouse (Blind Bag exclusive)

  • Plus rare, secret variants by surprise artists that will only be revealed when pulled.

Story-wise, Ultimate Endgame delivers the long-awaited return of the Maker. Locked away for two years both in real time and in-universe, the villain is ready to strike back at the heroes who reshaped the world he once controlled. The event unites characters from all five current Ultimate titles for the first time, culminating in an epic, multi-front showdown that will decide the fate of the new Ultimate Universe.

Under the guidance of Jonathan Hickman, Marvel’s Ultimate line has already become a fan-favorite relaunch, and this event promises to be its most explosive chapter yet.

Ultimate Endgame #1 goes on sale this December. Fans can preorder at their local comic shop now and ask about the availability of the TRUE BELIEVERS BLIND BAGS. Check out eight fo the covers below!
