Marvel’s swimsuit tradition is evolving! After the return of the Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes & Rivals #1 this past summer, Marvel is keeping the fun going with a seasonal twist. This December, the publisher will debut the Marvel Winter Break Special #1, a one-shot that showcases Marvel’s biggest heroes in stylish winter looks and cheeky cold-weather scenarios.
Writers Tim Seeley and Tony Fleecs team up once again with artist Nick Bradshaw to deliver a playful framing story, while a lineup of top talent — including Kaare Andrews, Annie Wu, and more – contributes brand-new pinups. Expect the X-Men, Avengers, Spider-Man, and other fan favorites enjoying everything from snowy slopes to cozy saunas, all while showing off dazzling seasonal fashion.
Marvel teases “equal parts action and relaxation,” with heroes taking time out for hot tubs, hot springs, and maybe even hot yoga — all wrapped in tongue-in-cheek fun.
Featuring a cover by Greg Land, Marvel Winter Break Special #1 arrives this December and is available to preorder now at your local comic shop.
