ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN: INCURSION has sent Miles Morales on a whirlwind journey through the reborn Ultimate Universe, teaming up with the stars of all five flagship titles—Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimates, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Black Panther, and Ultimate Wolverine. Together, they fight a desperate battle in the shadow of the Maker’s looming return, setting the stage for December’s climactic event, Ultimate Endgame.

The five-issue series, co-written by Deniz Camp (Ultimates) and Cody Ziglar (Miles Morales: Spider-Man), comes to a close on October 22 with a twist that shakes the Marvel multiverse. Miles won’t just make it back to the main Marvel Universe—he’s bringing something with him. Before he departs, Iron Lad entrusts him with a set of Origin Boxes, the devices once used to forge the heroes of the Ultimate Universe.

Each Origin Box contains the potential to rewrite destiny, holding within it the spark of familiar super-powers—whether the abilities of Marvel’s greatest heroes or the deadly talents of its most infamous villains. Their arrival in the Marvel Universe raises big questions: who will open them, and what new heroes or villains will emerge as a result? Readers won’t have to wait long, as the first Origin Box storyline kicks off in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #39, also out October 22.
