Exposing Corruption
In The Lowdown, civilian journalist Lee Raybon is always seeking the truth in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sometimes his investigations lead to trouble. His most recent article features the doings of an influential political family.
Shortly after the article’s release, the black sheep of the Washbergs suspiciously commits suicide. Raybon knows his work isn’t done and continues diving deeper. However, powerful forces work against him trying to prevent him from finding out more.
The Lowdown is a new series from Sterlin Harjo and premieres Tuesday, September 23, on FX.
Fighting the Avengers
The animated series What If…? introduced many different scenarios if something had changed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the possibilities posed the question “What if…Zombies?!” That idea has spun off into its own show.
Marvel Zombies, although not a direct continuation of the episode, is an expansion of that particular universe. The Avengers succumb to a zombie plague and their superpowers help make them more formidable members of the undead. A small group of survivors discover a key to saving humanity and set out in on a journey across the desolate post-apocalyptic landscape.

What Goes Around Comes Around
Slow Horses is the television adaptation of Mick Heron’s Slough House series of books. It follows a group of MI5 rejects who leave the real spy work to the professionals. But somehow, they always get dragged into cases that jeopardize the security of Britain.
The new season is based off of the novel London Rules. The group can’t believe that their resident tech guy, Roddy Ho, begins dating a glamorous new woman. A series of peculiar events trying to destabilize the country all point back to Roddy. Now the team must work against the clock in order to prevent an apocalypse.
The season five premiere of Slow Horses releases Friday, September 26, on Apple TV+.
