Fans worried the ongoing Storm series, which just wrapped up issue #12, wouldn’t return, but can breathe a sigh of relief. In the letters page, writer Murewa Ayodele revealed a “second season” of Storm will arrive in February 2026, and it’ll be titled “Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant.”

As you can read above, Storm will be interacting with Scarlet Witch, which should get two fan bases extra excited.
This is more good news for fans of the X-Men solo series, as it was revealed last week that Magik will return in some form.
Storm #12 is out today wherever you get your comics. Our reviewer says it’s, “Full of electrifying action, poignant moments of pathos, and jaw-dropping ending, Storm #12 closes out the Thunder War with a bang and a flourish…”
So what’s it about?
THUNDER WAR ENDS! Everything ends. Our universe is no exception. However, the only way the universe ends is over STORM’s dead body. So be it.
