At DC’s Gotham City Panel during New York Comic Con, DC Group Editor Rob Levin gathered an all-star lineup of creators — Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Tini Howard, Babs Tarr, Che Grayson, Jorge Jiménez, and Erica Henderson — to share updates and announcements about the next wave of stories from Gotham’s guardians and rogues.
The panel kicked off with a major reveal: writer Tini Howard and artist Babs Tarr will team up on a new DC Black Label series launching in February titled Sirens: Love Hurts. Described by the creators as Sex and the City meets Gotham’s most infamous women — Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Black Canary — the series promises high style, chaos, and complicated romance. Tarr’s eye-catching promo art was shown at the panel, with more covers and interior previews to follow soon.
From there, Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta discussed the runaway success of Absolute Batman and teased what’s next for the nightmarish alternate Gotham. Then came a surprise announcement: Che Grayson will join Snyder and artist Bengal for a new six-issue companion series debuting in 2026 — Absolute Catwoman — which will spotlight Selina Kyle as this universe’s ultimate antihero, a lot more on that title here.
Rounding out the panel, Jorge Jiménez thanked fans for their support and hinted that his ongoing work with Matt Fraction is only just beginning, while Erica Henderson offered a first look at her upcoming miniseries Harley & Ivy: Life & Crimes. The creators wrapped the session by heading to the DC booth (#4365) for a fan signing.
