“Jessica is back and just excited to be in the action, and she looks cooler than ever,” Krysten Ritter declared as she joined Charlie Cox on the Empire Stage of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at New York Comic Con’s Marvel Television and Marvel Animation panel Saturday afternoon.
The panel treated attendees to the exclusive first look at the new trailer for season two of Daredevil: Born Again, which included an entrance by Ritter’s Jessica Jones as well as a shot that included Matt Murdock’s diseased partner Foggy Nelson. The third member of the trio Karen Page was also there in addition to villian Bullseye and of course Mayor Wilson Fisk.
Trailers for the second seasons of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and X-Men ‘97 also screened. The former teased Doc Ock, the Symbiote, Daredevil returning, and Norman Osborne extending another hand to the webcrawler.
In the latter, Bishop vows, “We got to get the X-Men back to the 90s!” The Apocalypse-heavy season also includes various other familiar faces like Sabertooth, Colossus, and Lady Deathstrike, who concludes the trailer by stating she prefers laserdiscs. The Producers suggested Scott and Jean’s mutant baby will be important this season and announced this season would lead into an officially confirmed season three.
