Sonic the Hedgehog #84 hits comic shops on February 4 from writers Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley and artist Mauro Fonseca, but there’s an important date fans shouldn’t miss: pre-orders for issue #85 are due February 2. If you want to guarantee a physical copy, make sure to tell your local comic shop to add Sonic the Hedgehog to your pull list or preorder #85—it’s the only way to lock one in.
What’s Coming in Sonic the Hedgehog #84
Metal Sonic has vanished, and Doctor Eggman is running out of options. In a moment of desperation, Eggman promises Belle the Tinkerer that he’ll sever her connection to the ruthless robot—if she agrees to use that link one final time to track him down.
Belle doesn’t trust Eggman for a second and only agrees under one condition: Sonic must come along as protection. Cornered, Eggman gives in—but adds a twist of his own. Joining the mission is one of his greatest creations yet: the artificial intelligence Sage.
As Sonic and Belle head out, they’re forced into an uneasy alliance that raises one big question: how will this fractured robotic “family” handle such an unexpected reunion?
