Step into a world where a natural disaster in the far future has flash-frozen humanity’s remote mining exoplanet, Copper 9, and their robot workers carry on. Meet Uzi, an unruly malcontent worker drone, as she struggles with the usual teenage challenges: homework, hormones, and homicidal killer robots trying to slaughter everyone she knows! In the far future on the desolate exoplanet designated Copper 9, the humans are long gone but the robotic worker drones they created to mine the planet’s resources are still hard at work. Together, they have managed to forge their own makeshift society . . . or so they thought until a previously unknown kind of robot – the dreaded “Murder Drones” – are activated by a long-forgotten possibly-eldritch protocol to disassemble any worker that deviates from its original programming.
