Superman: Father of Tomorrow flips the origin story in a big way. Instead of Kal-El, it is Jor-El who escapes Krypton and lands in Kansas. Taken in by a kind couple, he grows into a hero who uses both his powers and intellect to protect Earth.
Written by Kenny Porter with art by Danny Earls, the series launches May 27 and explores what it means for Superman to be shaped by experience rather than childhood.
