Marvel is doubling down on the thrill of the unknown with DNX #1, revealing a new Blind Bag opportunity for collectors. Out in September, DNX #1 is the next round of True Believers blind bags. Each sealed bag will contain an exclusive variant cover that cannot be ordered through normal channels, ranging from high-profile artists to ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind hand-drawn sketch covers by surprise contributors. That means every copy is a gamble, and potentially a jackpot, turning DNX #1 into both a major X-Men event kickoff and a collector’s hunt right out of the gate.
See below for a list of the exclusive blind bag variant covers. In addition to those listed, fans can once again look forward to super-rare, exclusive covers by surprise contributors, including hand-drawn, one-of-a-kind sketch covers.
Marvel got in on the blind bag craze with Ultimate Endgame #1, and followed up with Daredevil, and later this year, Queen in Black.
So what’s DNX #1 about?
THE X-VIRUS UNLEASHED!
The X-Men and 3K. Each steered by an original heir of Xavier, each with their own vision for the mutant people. Each at one another’s throats. Cyclops and the Chairman both experienced the future of the Age of Revelation and came home with a renewed mission: The X-Men to prevent that future. 3K to own it. While the X-Men seek out the Fantastic Four to help save one of their own, the White Beast begins his plan to unleash the X-Virus in a major population area!
