Marvel’s next chapter in the evolving Ultimate saga is heating up, and we’ve got your exclusive first look at unlettered pages from Ultimate Impact: Reborn #2, on sale June 24.
Following the ambitious setup of the first issue, writer Christopher Condon and artist Stefano Caselli continue to explore the fallout of the scattered Origin Boxes, with new powers emerging across the Marvel Universe.
As teased in the preview, those transformations are already taking hold in unsettling ways. One character begins to exhibit glowing red eyes, hinting at a reborn Wonder Man, while another appears overwhelmed by terrifying visions of monsters, suggesting that not every transformation will be heroic.
Meanwhile, the stakes on the ground level escalate quickly. The preview shows the Punisher in action, rescuing victims from a human trafficking operation in a gritty sequence that underscores the real-world consequences of power falling into the wrong hands. That mission takes a sharp turn when Hostilicus enters the scene, bringing with him a level of force that proves difficult to match. Bullets do little to slow him down, and the clash that follows teases just how dangerous this new villain truly is.
Caselli’s art continues to shine in the preview pages, capturing both the explosive action and the unsettling nature of these emerging powers. The unlettered format highlights the visual storytelling, especially in scenes that contrast grounded street-level danger with larger, more cosmic threats.
With new players stepping into the spotlight and Hostilicus proving to be a major threat, Ultimate Impact: Reborn #2 looks to push the series deeper into chaos as the race to contain the Origin Boxes intensifies.
