Skybound Entertainment has revealed its full lineup for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, bringing a weekend packed with creator panels, franchise updates, convention exclusives, and collectible merchandise.
The publisher’s schedule spans many of its biggest properties, including Invincible, The Walking Dead, the Energon Universe, and Robert Kirkman’s upcoming superhero series Terminal. Fans can also expect exclusive announcements, behind-the-scenes discussions, and first looks throughout the convention.
Robert Kirkman headlines Thursday
One of the convention’s biggest attractions will be Robert Kirkman LIVE at SDCC, taking place on Thursday, July 23, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Room 6BCF.
Kirkman will discuss everything from Invincible and the record-breaking Invincible Universe: Battle Beast series to Void Rivals, Transformers, and his upcoming superhero title Terminal. Skybound is promising exclusive reveals, behind-the-scenes stories, and surprises throughout the panel.
Later that afternoon, Skybound will also host Blind Bags, Chases, and the Psychology of Collecting, examining why mystery variants and limited-edition comics continue to fuel collector enthusiasm. The discussion features Skybound’s Arune Singh alongside artist David Nakayama, PSA senior comic specialist Michelle Waffle, and collector Danielle Sauvé.
Energon Universe takes the spotlight
On Saturday, July 25, Skybound turns its attention to the Energon Universe with Transformers & G.I. Joe: The Energon Universe Is Unstoppable, running from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Room 5AB.
Robert Kirkman, Joshua Williamson, Conor Hughes, and Skybound publisher Sean Mackiewicz will preview what’s next for Transformers, G.I. Joe, Void Rivals, and M.A.S.K., while teasing the next phase of the shared universe.
Eisner recognition
Skybound also enters Comic-Con with several Eisner Award nominations.
The publisher earned nominations for Ghost Pepper in the Best New Series category and Clementine: Book Three for Best Publication for Teens. Several Skybound creators also appear in shared nominations, including James Tynion IV for Best Writer and Jordie Bellaire for Best Coloring.
The winners will be announced during the Eisner Awards ceremony on Friday, July 24.
