HHH joins The Shield: Believe in The Game

Viral infections make for strange bedfellows in sports entertainment.

Viral infections make for strange bedfellows in sports entertainment. Wrestling fans saw proof of this a few weeks back at TLC when Kurt Angle returned to a WWE ring for the first time in eleven years and teamed with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose when Roman Reigns missed the show. With Reigns still out of action due to the infection, his Shield partners found themselves in a three-on-two-disadvantage in a match against Cesaro, Sheamus, and Bray Wyatt (who also missed TLC.) To the surprise of the fans in attendance Triple H filled in. To the surprise of no one The SHHHield were victorious.

This occurred at a house show and will have no effect on current storylines, but WWE.com did acknowledge the team up.
